Aside from a visit to Taroko Gorge, which the Taiwanese city is famous for, take a sea whale ocean tour and go whitewater rafting.

Also, go to a hot spring to rejuvenate. Try Ruisui Hot Springs, Hongye Hot Springs or Antong Hot Springs, which are among the biggest and most famous in the Hualien area.
