There you will find small restaurants that offer traditional Viennese food such as kaiserschmarrn, a light caramelised pancake dessert. Also, look out for the wiener schnitzel (a thin slice of meat covered with breadcrumbs and fried), knodel (a type of dumpling) and tafelspitz (a dish of boiled beef with potatoes and horseradish).
