Places to visit in Cape Town
Take a cable-car ride up the 1,086m-high Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the city. At the Table Mountain National Park, you can abseil, paraglide and hike.
Do make your way to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope at the southernmost point of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet.
Another place that might interest you is Robben Island, once home to political prisoners such as Nelson Mandela, and now a World Heritage Site.
For shopping, the Green Market Square is one of the city's oldest and most popular markets, selling a wide variety of African knick-knacks and clothes.
