Head to Pulau Seribu, a group of small islands which are popular with the locals. The area has 130 isles, though only 37 are open to tourists.
The islands are known for their beautiful beaches, with clear blue waters to snorkel and dive in.
For those who are keen on a short stay, there are some resorts on the islands that offer individual bungalows.
