MANDARIN Oriental has become the first hotel in Singapore to earn Forbes Travel
Guide's coveted Five-Star rating. It joins a prestigious list of 57 properties
found in US, Canada, China and Singapore - where the travel ratings system is
carried out - to earn the accolade for 2012. To earn a Five- or Four-Star
Forbes rating, hotels must pass through an incognito service evaluation by a
professional inspector and perform exceedingly well in a comprehensive
