Angry Birds aficionados will be delighted to know that a specially-themed Angry
Birds flight arrived in Singapore from Helsinki on Sept 21. The AY81 Finnair
flight carried the winner and challengers of an Angry Birds challenge which
took place on board the flight at altitude of 10,000m. The body of the Finnair
jet was painted with Angry Birds motif, as were the aprons worn by flight
attendants and passenger seat headrests. Take a closer look at the inaugural
flight here...
The Finnair flight arrived at 4.20pm at Changi Airport Terminal 1.
The AY81 flight carried eight challengers of the Finnair Angry Birds Asian
Challenge.
Eight die-hard Angry Birds fans participated in an ultimate shoot-out, using
only slingshots and some angry birds to get even with a bunch of hungy pigs.
But only one winner emerged from the challenge which took place at a high
altitude of 10,000m.
Finnair passenger Janu Ulajas from Finland won with a high score of 62,110.
Among the other seven challengers were two Singaporeans Karen Tang and Tay Sok
Noy.
The body of the Finnair jet was painted with the Angry Birds motif.
Flight attendants on board also wore aprons with a special Angry Birds design.
Passenger seat headrests were also marked with the Angry Birds motif.
